I'm not into skaters or the skater culture at all so bear with me...

I know some people are worried that it looses "essence" because it's too "main stream" but those people can bite me.
The movie is here to tell the story, and it does it well.
I was not at all impressed with the photography but I do think it's a good movie.

Positive points are that the actors really nailed the rolls and it's entirely believable.
2.5/5 - I HATED the photography.

I don't really know anything about skateboarding or surfing either, and I enjoyed this show. I agree that the shaky, zoom-y cinematography is annoying, but the story and acting are compelling. Check it out.

It was ok. If you saw the documentary on Z-Boys you may find it boring. Hated Sparklehorse's version of Pink Floyds Wish You Were Here, ugh. The jumpy camera work fit the picture. However, they should have used a fisheye lens to shoot the pool scenes. Heath's drunkiness slurring of speech, got to me after a while. I'd give the movie 3 out of 5 stars.
