Do you really know anything about your children or their friends? Society that is as cold as ice, and people that are chemically controlled? This latest film from New Market Films is closer to the truth than one may think. Strong supporting performances, very interesting storyline, with a interesting ending. This film is a cross between Donnie Darko and Magnolia, with a dash of the Stepford Wives, Desperate Housewives, and Twin Peaks. Very obscure, great soundtrack. A story about the messed up lives of people/families both on prescribed medicine and street drugs. I saw a lot of my friends in this film, family members included. A medicated society, emotionless individuals unable to realize or feel pain. I think that the only part that I disliked was the video game imagery, but it added to the story. Just another type of human medication or control. I like bizarre and off the wall films. This baby has cult potential, as did Donnie Darko. And is just as entertaining. What drugs are u on?? If Chumscrubber plays in your area, by all means ....SEE IT.
