This movie was just dumb and not scary in the slightest.

1 out of 5 stars

I didn't think it was bad enough to deserve a 1/5 but 2/5 is max. By the end I hated the family(non-mutated one) for how dumb they were.

I just saw this movie earlier today. It was okay. I'm kinda in the middle. I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. It started out kinda boring, but once they encountered the mutants, it started to pick up a little. It didn't totally suck, but it could've been better. Probably the biggest problem was the family. They were so boring and uninteresting. Plus, they were really stupid. I actually wanted them to all die. Other than that, it was alright. It was definitely better than last year's atrocity, Boogeyman.

Does one of the bad guys crush a canary, like in the original? That was creepy. I haven't seen this one yet. But don't want to either.

One of the bad guys eats a canary. I haven't seen the original, but I'm sure it's better than this one. It has to be. It was one of Wes Craven's earlier movies, back when he was actually good. Wes Craven hasn't made a good movie since A Nightmare on Elm Street.
