Author Topic: One Night With The King (2006) Richard Greco Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1180 From: Plant City, FL Registered: Nov 2003 posted 10-16-2006 07:24 PM                     The 2.5 hr long epic about the Book Of Esther from what I understand. I saw it, being non-religious myself, I was more dragged to see it by my religious parents...I thought, "Hey, A free movie". I ended up becoming VERY enthralled in the story... It was a very good tale where a Jewish woman becomes Queen and stops the King from killing all the Jews. Lots of religious references throughout. On it's own though, it could've been cut down about 1/2 hr less. Not that bad though 3/5 Average... Greco factor is a 7...the lead girl is pretty hot. Now, the real thing that PISSED me off during this film was the crowd. Lots of black men and women and Latin folk. THEY WOULDN'T SHUT UP?!?! This was the WORST crowd I've even seen at a movie theatre. They cheered at some spots about kneeling to only one god, all fine and good....DON'T TALK ABOUT IT DURING THE SHOW!!!
