Author Topic: Shortbus Paul Linfesty Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1383 From: Bakersfield, CA, USA Registered: Nov 1999 posted 11-08-2006 02:45 AM                     This is a great first date movie. While it deals with the easiness with which people connect physically/sexually, it shows the difficulty in making emotional connections in the society we live in. Yes, the sex is real (including the so-called "money shots") but never feels exploitative. Even though using amateur actors, there is a stark reality to the performances and dialog. Definately one of the best pictures I've seen this year. I actually did take a 1st date to it.
