Author Topic: Little Children Mike Schindler Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1039 From: Oak Park, IL, USA Registered: Jun 2002 posted 01-12-2007 01:37 PM                     I didn't realize that this movie was a comedy, but I was pleasantly surprised by how funny it was. Kate Winslet is great, as usual. Jennifer Connely is under-utilized, but her character exists more as the model of perfection than anything else. In that sense, she's extremely well-cast. The movie kind of falls apart at the end, but not nearly as much as it could have. Its a movie about trying to regain lost youth.. getting back the spark. One thing I didn't like is the voice of god narration..it seemed tacked on, it wasn't needed.
