This was the first movie I'd seen since May 2007 and it was a very enjoyable movie experience. The story is told in a nice, light-hearted, non-stressful way. I can't say much about the movie without giving away things that are best experienced in the theatre knowing nothing ahead of time.
So, was the pig snout done with CGI or with make-up? These days, it's hard to tell. It was hilarious to see the difference in how she really looked compared to the descriptions and drawings made of her in the movie. I thought it was stretching things a bit that her looks made any man run away, usually jumping through a glass window to get away, but it added some light-hearted humor to the story.
My head was 33 feet from a 62-foot wide screen (largest I've ever seen, scope mode, side masking, was 50 feet in flat mode), so I could see the pixels of the image in some scenes, but that did not detract from the experience, because it was noticeable only in a few still bright scenes. The presentation (image and sound quality) were dead-on perfect. This was my first visit to this theatre and it was impressive.
