zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

BORING!

[sleep] [sleep] [sleep] [sleep] [sleep] [sleep]

YAWN!

Sweet Jesus, how many reels is this thing??? Oh only 5? That can't be. I've been sitting here for 3 hours now!

So they spend the entire time just wandering around New York trying to find a drunk girl who mistakenly thought she was kidnapped because some friends were taking her home and she happened to wake up in the back of their van as they had parked it for a few minutes to get something to eat. Wackiness did not ensue. Boredom did.

This entire movie was really just an excuse to release a 6 CD soundtrack set of indie music.

1/2 out of 5

Brad has nailed it.
Emo? I guess... "nick" does a LOT of whining.
Here's a movie without a beginning or much of an end, just a LOT of middle (muddle?).

I didn't hate it, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it. What really disappointed me is the music wasn't even a big part of the movie. More than anything I just felt too old for this movie.

I wound up sitting through this movie becuase I had done some work on the audio system earlier in the day and wanted to be sure it was working OK. Lack of audio would have been an improvement for this movie.

A couple of things I can't figure out:
1) Nick's 3 best male friends are all gay.
Where does he fit in? (rethorically speaking)
2) His gay friends seem to have nothing better to
to do with their lives than help HIM find a girl
friend. Confusing.

For the me, the one bright spot in the movie was the
young actress who played the drunken girl. (Carolyn)
IMO she did a pretty good job of a drunken teenager
and laughing through her scenes was the one thing
that made sitting through this movie bearable for me.

BTW: It wasn't a total waste of time-
My amp repair solved the audio problem.
(I had a noisy input module on the lo-freq half of
my center channel ASHLEY)
