I'm agreeing on David with this one. This is a good, not great, movie that keeps you guessing until the end. Actually, I don't like the final ending of the movie, as it is a bit hard to believe, but, still, it is a satisfying film. This isn't one I'll remember very well, but it was fun while it was running.
Acting is good, and I'm glad they didn't go for the cheap, romantic angle between the reporters.
Sound in this giant AMC Torus screen room was strange. It kept popping to a backup track, either to analog or to the backup SDDS track. I don't know what they were running, and this room has multiple systems, I believe. Occasionally there would be a repeated word or two. Didn't ruin the film for me, though.
Thanks, AMC, for those $5.00 early shows. Now that my wife has retired we can hit them on Friday when they aren't crowded. Guess we'll be joining all those old folks who like those early, cheap movies!
Give this one a good, solid B.
