This film is now recognized internationally as a form of torture similar to waterboarding!

I have enjoyed Tyler Perry's recent films, so I can only assume the problem here was him adapting a play which considered itself to be AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE.

If only Mr. Perry would have seen fit to satirize this downbeat tale (which seems to be saying that most black women are downtrodden saints and most black men are beasts) and made it into a comedy, say, "For Colored Girls Who Need To Be Slapped Upside The Head By Medea."
