Underworld: Awakening: An IMAX 3D Experience

***

I had great time. I have been a fan of the Underworld series so I figured I would see this. It was a decent no-brainer action film with some good killings and some gore. The title should of been called "Underworld : The Exorcist runs around as a little girl" for those who see it will understand why.

Good 3D effects, great sound with some excellent rear corner channels that were active. This is a situation where 3D makes a movie worthwhile IMO, I am not a big fan of 3D, but I do enjoy it every once in a while. The movie has an 88 minute running time and just when you really start getting into it, the movie ends....I gotta say, the director did not overdue it with the running time.

I really did enjoy the special effects and overall theme of sets and look of the picture.

Sad that there was no Dark Knight trailer or Titanic in 3D trailer as there were only two trailers ahead of this IMAX feature.

Its good for fans of Underworld, those who don't like Underworld won't like it.
