Single worded review: Why?!!

I don't get it. Is this some kind of prank Hollywood is trying to pull off?

IMDB lists 11 directors and I've seen a gazillion of well known stars, some of them quite respected for their repertoire...

this died a quick theatrical death barely two weeks in release and it's gone... I'll wait and see how truly terrible this movie was when it comes out on home video (when I'm feeling my most masochistic), but from what I've been reading, this had disaster written all over it.
