CINEMA: Regal Colonnade, Las Vegas, NV
AUDITORIUM: 11
PRESENTATION: Sony Digital 4K (but probably really 2K)
PRESENTATION PROBLEMS: Fuzzy picture
RATING: Three stars (out of four)

The "Colonnade" name comes from the shopping center this plex was built in back in the Act III days (Colonnade Square). But they've recently renamed the shopping center "Regal Square". So does that mean this is now the Regal Regal? Probably not, but that would be awesome.

THE PLOT: A teen alcoholic love story. Wackiness ensues.

That pretty much sums it up. You have a boy who drinks too much and a girl who he convinces to drink too much and they're a really awesome couple who you really enjoy and therefore know the writers are going to fuck all up. And they tease this happening about a hundred times before finally doing so. Which is stupid because this was four-star charming as hell until they did.

Fuckers.

This was a great movie, watched it on DVD. Hopefully Shailene Woodley will stay away from the Divergent type movies and make movies like Spectacular Now. The only part I did not like was the last 30 second/cliffhanger at the end.

I was under the impression that this was a straight to home video release.

It had a very limited theatrical release, according to I.M.E.

We played it at a film festival about a year ago (on DCP). It had a (very) limited theatrical run as well (Landmark played it, and possibly others).
