Posts: 1431 From: Waukee, IA Registered: Dec 2004 posted 10-12-2013 05:01 PM                        CINEMA: 13th Avenue Warren, Wichita, KS AUDITORIUM: 16 PRESENTATION: Dolby Digital Cinema DLP/THX PRESENTATION PROBLEMS: None RATING: Two and one half stars (out of four) THE PLOT: Machete kills. Wackiness ensues. We start with a trailer for Machete Kills Again...IN SPACE. We know enough by who shows up in the trailer to know who will still be standing at the end of this one, which is a cliffhanger for Machete Kills Again...IN SPACE. Yeah...that wasn't all that well thought out. Like the first one, there's a lot of fun absurd killing (my favorite being Machete attaching himself to a rotating helicopter blade with a grappling hook and slicing off heads as he spins around), but also like the first one, Machete Kills overstays its welcome. These things need to be 90 minutes or (way) less to really work. I totally agree with Sam though, 90 minutes is more than sufficient. All in all it's mildly funny, but it get's old rather quick. Maybe they should leave "Machete Kills Again... In Space" for what it is right now: A trailer.
