Author Topic: The Diary of a Teenage Girl Yang Miller Film Handler Posts: 9 From: Athens, Ohio, USA Registered: Jul 2015 posted 09-03-2015 04:57 PM                     We just screened The Diary of a Teenage Girl to our employees and crew here at The Athena Cinema in Athens Ohio. (we do complementary Friday afternoon screenings for our employees to keep them up to date on our shows) Plot: The coming of age story of a 15 year old girl in 1970's San Francisco. We all really enjoyed this film, even the jockish bros who had low expectations. Bel Powley is a breakout actress who nails this performance. (whoa those eyes!) Kristen Wiig's small part was developed and on point. Alexander Skarsgård's creepy boyfriend character was a guy you hate to love. Many cringe worthy moments in this film.
