I liked this movie quite a bit better than I expected to; since my expectations were zero, that wasn't too difficult to achieve.

Having said that, the movie is quite clever. The movie consists of non-stop puns and innuendo around the names, shapes and origins of various food items. A good deal of it is really well thought out and executed.

Non-stop cursing and swearing in any movie gets to be quite boring to listen to after a while, and this movie is no exception to that.

Sausage Party isn't a great movie, but it isn't awful either.

Someone finally came up with an R-rated version of Toy Story.

Predictable, mildly funny and way over the top. Fine with popcorn, if you're not all too easily offended, or too scared about what that popcorn may do to you, once it knows the horrible truth of what's going to happen.

I must have been in the right mind set, I thought this movie was a hoot. I'm not sure I want to or need to own this movie on home video, but I'm curious how the UHD edition will look in 4K and the new Dolby Atmos mix will sound.
