This is another one of those laid back sensual food films. Minimal music to distract you (and I really like the music they DO use). Many extreme closeups. One man steps into another's shoes, though I really wonder what he was expecting. A relationship develops between a German and a Jew (from a religious family, though she is not). Tension develops as the woman gets close to determining the identity of the man. But, in the final scene, she smiles.
