German and French with English subtitles. The story has been compared to Casa Blanca. Based on a book from around 1948. To quote another reviewer here, "Man flees invading Nazis, wackiness ensues." An interesting production technique that I don't think I've seen before is that this is clearly a WW2 story, but the setting is modern France. We notice clearly modern electronic doorbell sounds, electronic police sirens, modern cars, etc. The old story is just set in today's atmosphere.
