Today it is being reported at www.variety.com that Edwards Theaters filed chapter 11 bankruptcy on Wednesday.

I am not sorry to hear about Edward's going down.

This company has been making bad decisions for years. At one point they practically owned Orange County. One story I heard was that a Mann theatre opened. Old man Edwards walked in and bought the theatre. They were selling Edwards ticket stock and Mann concession items.

I have heard that since Edwards Sr. died the kids have been running the company. Apparently with no idea of cash flow. Maybe the kids should have been paying better attention.
