Is thanksgiving day usually a big day for cinemas in the states, or do people stay at home with the family and gorge?

I hope you all have a good time [beer]

Tnansgiving here in the United States is a day when many flock to a movie theatre or spend time with their families and gives thanks to the lord for his many blessings. I intend to do both today by having dinner with my family and taking in a showing of "SOLARIS" tonight.
Have a very safe and a very memorable Thangsgiving everyone.

The Friday after Thanksgiving is typically the single busiest day for US theatres.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I am spending my 14th out of the past 18 Thanksgivings, working in a movie theatre. [thumbsup]

However, this will be the first year I will miss the turkey. Tonight it's vegetarian Indian food. [Roll Eyes]

My family always eats in the evening so I was mostly able to get away for dinner. Sometimes they would bring me dinner.

It looks like we will not be too busy today. But tomorrow, hold on! [Eek!]

Be of good cheer, [beer] don't eat too much. [puke]

Whew! After feeding all twenty of my family today, I almost wish I had opened the theatre!! [Wink] Between small children at the card table, too many big people jammed around the "grownup" table, and very tiny 8 week old dauchshound puppy underfoot, I am exhausted! I am looking forward to relaxing at the theatre tomorrow! [Big Grin] Happy Thanksgiving All!!

This is my 23rd Thanksgiving in a row to be working in this theatre...and I wouldn't have it any other way! (Just one of the things I'm thankful for.) [Smile]
