Loews Cineplex and Lavalife will host "Click at a Flick" -- special Wednesday night movie screenings in major metropolitan areas designed exclusively for singles. Single moviegoers simply buy a ticket for the featured movie and proceed to the designated theater auditorium where they can mingle before the lights go down. Loews and Lavalife will launch the "Click at a Flick" program in New York at Loews 34th Street on August 11, 2004, followed by an expansion to three other major cities. Each pre-movie party will be sponsored by Svedka Vodka who will help transform the movie theater into a nighttime playground with sophisticated ice breakers for singles, including an updated version of 'Spin the Bottle' and Tarot Card Readers revealing love-connection futures. The party will also feature complimentary cocktails, sexy surveys and seductive music to help singles connect. Events will begin at 6:30 PM and attendance is welcome with purchase of 'Click at a Flick' movie tickets.
