Who do you use as a web site provider and what should I expect to pay? And, does that same provider get the information put on the other sites like Fandango and Yahoo Movies?

We host with our local newspaper, and pay too much. As for Fandango, MovieTickets.com, et al, that is taken care of through our on-line ticket provider (PrintTixUSA).

Ours is hosted through a local phone company. I think we pay $15 a month for hosting. I know I could get it a bit cheaper elsewhere, but this place is local and I'm on a first name basis with everyone there, so that means a lot to me.

...or were you asking about how much it would cost to have a site maintained by someone? I'd be interested in that figure, because a neighboring theatre has asked me about doing a site for them and I have no clue how much to charge for it. I'm no web expert that's for sure, but I can make a good basic site.

Don,

For a standard web site that doesn't get a large amount of traffic, you shouldn't have to pay much more than $10-$15 per month, depending on the features you need.

This, of course, assumes that you are going to maintain the web site yourself or have someone do it for you.

We provide a variety of services to theaters for web site hosting, design, and showtimes. I've sent you information via E-Mail about what The BigScreen Cinema Guide offers.

We are using a generic host - powweb.com - for our site. Haven't had any issues, and have a huge amount of storage and bandwidth to play with.
