The Dolby Theatre...doesn't sound as cool as the Kodak Theatre but it beats that other name they were using, which was so unmemorable I forgot it already.

I was just at the theater last week for a training run - the Kodak signage is still up on the place. Now that a lease has been signed, the signage will be a changin' shortly.

According to an associate at a local AMC Theater, all AMC Prime screens across the nation will be converted to Dolby Cinemas starting this Sunday or next, and will be closed for construction for 5 weeks(!!). Projected movie to reopen with is Tomorrowland, maybe Jurassic World.
