Apparent this is just out. 3-hour DVD. Picked it up at costco for $9.99 -- worth every penny. Superb quality with computer-generated recreations of events using archival film footage interlinked with 25 interviews of survivors still alive today both in Hawaii and in Japan. In some ways it plays better than Tora! 3x which was originally in 70MM, and to date is THE definitive Pearl Harbor movie. If this dvd is an example of what our current computer technology can do with documentaries, I certainly look forwards to many more. It seems as tho the new PH is going to be more of a romantic-story assemblage, much like Titanic was, and it's one of my favorite dvd's. Never was able to see Titanic in a theatre either. [sigh...] This dvd is Marathon #62153 and a website listed is www.timeless-video.com
