Just read on imdb.com news that the Lucasfilm lawyers are threatening lawsuits against this type of thing if it happens again, a complete reversal of Lucas' accepting of it a week ago.

I did read a little on this. Jar-Jar's scenes were edited to make him more of an incidental character instead of one of the main ones. Now if they can only put it on DVD...

Interesting that when a video store in Utah offered to censor your copies of Titanic the whole world got angry. But the moment we hear that some unauthorized person wants to re-edit a Star Wars movie people think that's cool. And... when the only guy who is authorized to re-edit his own Star Wars films actually does it (Episodes 4-6) his so-called fans hate him for it. Odd.

Well perhaps that's because Titanic was a good movie and Star Wars Episode 1 sucked?
