Gordon mentioned something that made me think: we should have an annual "Film-Tech" Award. We could vote for best picture and best actor, but also best change over placement or shortest "20min" reel. Maybe best scene that was in the trailer, but wasn't in the film. Well, it doesen't have to be all serious - at least we don't have to stay up for 5 hours waiting for results ...!

Mark also had a good idea. "Film-Techer Of The Year." What do you think of that one?

That reminds me of a scene from "Putney Swope". The board was suppose to vote for a new Chairman because the last one had just stuttered himself to death. They all wrote their votes on little scraps of paper and were about to put them in the hat when it was announced that you couldn't vote for yourself. At that point everyone tore up their little piece of paper and began to write again.

I thirden the motion for film-tech awards. I do believe that they should be held each year at Sho-West. Winners get a statue of Brad standing next to a bottle of Film-Guard.
