Is there any easy conversions for Carbon Arcs to Xenon , as my friend is considering to change 1 of his Peerless MagArcs to Xenon , but would it be better to install a xenon in the present Lamphouse as this would look better and to leave the other Carbon arc for back up , he is able to run 6000ft reels with an intermission if needed .

The Peerless carbon arc to xenon conversion is easy to do in kit form including in the unit the different E53 type mirror. If there are no suppliers of kits in NZ or OZ, you will find George Taylor of Calmat (UK) Ltd extremely helpful. E-mail: www.georgetaylor@calmat.co.uk Website is www.calmat.co.uk

Kneisley has been out of the conversion business for a long time....still making lamphouses, consoles, rectifiers.

Is Kniesley still in business? They have been absent from the shows since John left.

Betty....who has been there since the year one ( almost ) still answers the telephone....they where one of the first companies to install voice mail ( or hell ) box but the recording that says "that extension" always gives you Betty....their rectifiers are handy for many situations we run into where more well known brands have trouble.

Regarding Trade Shows....we exhibit at three but some of my best transactions have been in the "Coca Cola" stand in shows we did not. Charlie Wolk and Leonard Pincus are two industry regulars who roam and deal...and there is always a friendly chair in our booth for them
