More sad news. Mike Todd jr died last week at his home in Ireland see http://www.salon.com/people/wire/2002/05/09/smell_vision/index.html

Son of Mike Todd ,who of course brought us the miracle of Todd AO, amongst other things he was responsible for filming the roller coaster sequences at the start of This is Cinerama. He died just 5 months before the 50th anniversary of the films premiere screening .
