Author Topic: Customers "Can't believe its not... DLP" Adam Wilbert Jedi Master Film Handler Posts: 590 From: Bellingham, WA, USA Registered: Mar 2002 posted 05-18-2002 10:01 PM                        We have an on-screen advertising system that is fed from a standard DVD player through a regular old LCD projector during intermission. Today, I forgot to turn on the DVD player in the Star Wars auditorium, and the LCD projector displayed its "LCD MULTIMEDIA PROJECTOR" splash screen because there was no signal. This convinced several customers that they were watching a DLP presentation, and I got a few comments at the end of the show about how good the new projector looked. "What?" I asked. It took a few minutes to figure out what had happened.
