The producer of this show was interviewed on the Today programme this morning (see www.bbc.co.uk/today ) and thoroughly rottweiled by its presenter, James Naughtie, who is well known for having a go at politically correct activists.

The interview was along familiar lines - the producer insisting that the use of the word 'hunchback' in the title could alienate people suffering from spinal scoliosis, whilst Naughtie insisted that a hunchback was a hunchback was a hunchback and that you can't change an author's words.

She did sound quite impressively irritating, though...
