A dog hat is just what the name would imply and I was quite amazed to see that a retail establishment in a high-rent district was able to survive by selling only these. Doggles was a dog that wore goggles. He was a Dr. Seuss character and he would have become famous except for the fact that he had a drinking problem. He was replaced by the cat in the hat.
