A friend sent this to me from the NPR Weekend Edition website:

The Current Challenge given July 7 & 14, 2002: Write a brief description or a capsule review of a well-known movie in which the initial letters of your words spell the movie's title. For example:

JAWS = Just A Wild Shark
ANNIE HALL = Allen's Nebbish Neuroticism Is Evident Here And Lotsa Laughs.

Entries were judged on cleverness, aptness and naturalness of syntax.

WINNER (WILL'S PICK):
STAR WARS - EPISODE II, ATTACK OF THE CLONES:
Sadly, This Awful Retread Will Apparently Reap Staggeringly Enormous Profits. It's Surprisingly One Dimensional. Even Its Intricate Action Tableaus Traverse Awkward Cliches. Kudos Only For The Highly Entertaining Christopher Lee, Overcoming Nonsensical, Erratic Storyline

We received about 1,200 messages and postcards, with no more than 3 entries each. Our winner was John Drew from Orangevale, CA.
