Anyone pick up the new 2-disc DVD of "LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring?" Lotsa bass on it, especially when the big bad guy explodes in the prologue: "vrrrrrrooooooohhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmm". Hehe.

Anyway, I was wondering what movie teaser 1 and the final trailer used for borrowing the score music. It kind of sounds like some of the score from "Come See the Paradise", but then it is different as well making me think it has to be another film. It definitely isn't used in LOTR. So which movie used it? Any ideas?

I know for a fact the music that is played towards the end of the final trailer is from Hans Zimmer's score to The Power of One. More specifically track number 2 which is called Mother Africa (Reprise). The piece of music they used for the trailer starts about a minute into the track.

Other music used in Trailer #1 is Mystic's Dream by Loreena McKennit and Gothic Power by Christopher Field. Hope that helps.

I haven't seen "The Power of One", guess I'll have to go rent a copy if I can find it. Thanks.

The Power of One is an excellent film. It's what introduced me to Johnny Clegg, et al.
