I hope you will all forgive me for discussing another television series twice in a week on a forum that is more related to theatrical film presentations but I had to express my excitement about the series, "24". Until I watched the first episode "12:00AM---1:00AM" last night from the new DVD set I rented, I had no idea what the series was about until I watched the first part last night and like "THE SOPRANOS", I am hooked! The story is set in real time and I think it is so cool to devote a full twenty four time period in an entire season. The first season plot is about a group of federal agents in Los Angeles who are trying to prevent the assassination of a presidential candidate who has a very good chance of becoming the first black president of the United States. One of the things I like about "24" was the way the it was photographed. I felt the use of split screen was so well done, it actually draws you into the story. All of the performance were also great.

If you like that Claude, then you will love what will happen in season two.

I wont tell you anything just in case you haven't seen the whole thing yet. In fact, don't watch the new season until you watch the whole thing. Record the new stuff.

But the new season is a year after the old one, and delves even deeper into government consipiracy.

But even greater is that the season premier will be two hours long and without commercial interruption, paid for by our freinds at ford.

It is a fantastic show, once you watch it, you are in deed very hooked.

Of course, the problem with the DVD is that there are NO breaks for the commercials, so episode 1 is condensed to 42:39, ep 2, 41:00, ep 3, 43:28, and ep 4, 41:55, etc. This was a show where commercial time was calculated as part of the hour.
