Starting Friday 9/20/02, The Historic Senator Theatre in Baltimore, MD will be running a BRAND NEW PRINT of Lawrence of Arabia in 70mm DTS (5.1 mix). http://www.senator.com Lawrence always has an impressive display with its shipping cans (13 of them) Below is the test run of Lawrence The next picture is a close-up of the Bauer U2 with dual DTS 70mm heads. Lawrence is going to play for only two-weeks so wake the kids and phone the neighbors! Steve ------------------ "Old projectionists never die, they just changeover!"

Matt, have you seen "THE JERK" one too many times? "He hates these cans; stay away from the cans!"Yes there are more pictures but I don't have all that I want for a serious upload. The Senator is a very pretty theatre starting from the outside and going in...All of the pictures I have of it at the moment are from the booth. As to getting into the booth, I have no say in the matter but you can always ask (I work for the company that services the theatre, I don't work for the Senator proper). Robert Harris has been known to state that he finds the Senator to be one of the, if not THE best places to view a 70mm presentation.
