It's easy to pick 20. Now you only have a few more hours..What film will you watch to keep you happy for eternity.

I will watch "Yankee Doodle Dandy" James Cagney. And after I pass over I will sip a Beefeater "Gin Gibson" with Mr. Cagney at his heavenly saloon.

To answer the question below: It's your choice . Pick only one.

Comments to Posts:

Paul:That is one terrific memory. Congratulations You may take that memory with you always.

Ian: You have had a good meal....and you have been laid, by someone you love. Now it's time to pick your film, so let us know what you want to spend eternity remembering what fantasy your last film has
put that eternal smile on your puss.

Gordon: Call me when you are in the Northeast, we need to go drinking together.

Bobby: Do no listen to you need to learn to love film. DVD's are just DVD'S. You need to see "Film Done Right". Take the next plane to Rochester, New York and call on John at Eastman Kodak. He will show you "Film Done Right." Pack you clothes because chances are you will never return to Oklahoma You will fall in love with the finger lakes and become a professor at Cornell.

Joe: You really need to get out of Colorado. Why not hitch a ride with Bobby to New York State. While he is is Rochester you can meet me in NYC's Central Park at midnight. Bring your Film-Tech Cap and let me know what your final film will be. P.S. I will steal you hat after all, I grew up in "The Bronx."

Dave, your a young man, When your time come, judging from your answer,
you will have watched "Fight Game" for the Five Hundred and Eighty-five thousandth time..would you like to see something else before yobout * AM the next morning.u shuffle off this mortal coil? Please advise.

Gord,

You know one of these days, I will hop on the "North Star " out of Grand Central Station. The train will leave around 8PM and arrive iin Toronto about 8AM the following morning. After getting my fill of Butter Tarts and coffee,I will be ready to help you close all of those "Martini Bars".

We may have to invite the other Gordon up from Louisana.

One of these day's Gord....one of these days.

Mark,

Your wish will be granted, and Gene Kelly will be there to greet you. Take your umbrella.

Peter, That is hard to believe. Go rent the DVD at once buy some popcorn and you and your dog can watch it together.

Paul, Maybe you can get two 35mm prints and glue them together, it's the new way to have 70mm.

Gord, It's Butter Tarts..Canada's gift to the gods.

Can we choose just one or one in case we go to heaven and one in case we go to hell? Because I think not all favourites would be allowed in heaven.

Mmmmm... For personal reasons mine would be The King and I. I know it wasn't that great a picture, but it was the best of the ones my mom and dad both worked on (he as music editor, she as Little Eva). What better memory to take into the next life than that?

My movie is starting...

Much as I like film and movies, I'd much prefer a good meal and to get laid.

I would be tempted to say "Raiders of the Lost Ark" but it is not available on DVD. Dammit, George!

For the film, I would have to go with the original Disney FANTASIA (with the original "roadshow" multi-channel optical sound system).

For the libation, I'd settle for my usual Bombay Sapphire Gin martini, straight up and garnished with an anchovy-stuffed olive, hoping all the while to catch up with Mr. Stokowsky and amuse him by recounting the Disney organization's predlilection for exhuming perfection and trying to improve upon it.

Fight Club.

I have watched the film about 137 times, approximately.

I think that film would keep me.

Bobby-

I guess you'll just have to watch it on film, then. I know I know... that really sucks. DVD is much better, especially with the new enhancements and deleted scenes! Plus you can watch it in several different languages.

You can watch it on LaserDisc. I have it. I also have the Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition on LaserDisc in Dolby Digital 6 channel. Woo hoo!!!!

Gord, let me know when Bob gets in. I'll provide the transportation to the great martini bars of Toronto.

You do realize, of course, that we are gonna have to listen to his jokes. Still, a small price to pay for great company and even better martinis.

I'd have to say "Raiders of The Lost Ark"

Why?

Well, everyone seems to like it a real lot and I have yet to see any of the Indiana Jones films (True!). Seems like a good choice to me.

cheers Peter

That reminds of the Joke about the blond who was asked how many D's there are in "Raiders of the Lost Ark" ....she thought for awhile and replied thoughtfully "100" she was asked how she got that total ...Well she said "Daa Da Da Daa Daa ......."
