Allright, you guys are always asking about how you can get a Film-Tech T shirt...here you go!

Let's have some fun in the predictability of Technicolor's shipping depot, shall we? Below are a series of questions. The first person to correctly answer ALL of the questions will win a free Film-Tech T shirt. In the event one member does not get all questions correct, the person with the most correct answers wins. (1 point added for each correct answer, 1 point subtracted for each incorrect answer.) The game will be closed for postings on Thursday evening, so vote now!

Please answer with the pasted question followed by the letter AND the pasted answer. You may choose more than one answer, but if you select A, D and G and only D and G was correct, that means you got 2 points, but lost 1 for a total of 1 point added to your score.

Do note that this game is specifically based upon the events in the thread "Hey You, You Suck! (Outing bad film handlers)" in the Film Handler's Forum. You can read that thread here . It would be be advisible to read it before placing your bet. Do note that some of these answers could be considered an opinion, such as the condition of the print. I will be there to personally inspect the prints and my opinion will be final.

#1 The theater is booked to play 2 prints of Frida on Friday. Come Thursday the theater will...

A. Receive two brand new prints
B. Receive one brand new print and the new print that had to be sent back for a trailer attachment
C. Receive one damaged print and the new print that had to be sent back for a trailer attachment
D. Receive two completely different used prints, both damaged
E. Receive two completely different used prints, one damaged
F. Receive two completely different used prints, both acceptable condition.
G. Receive one print and be told the other one will arrive on Friday
H. Receive no prints and both will arrive on Friday.

#2 Brad Carroll will reply to my email...

A. With a canned pre-written response that is a waste of internet bandwidth.
B. With a response that doesn't actually accomplish a change in this kind of ridiculous shipping practice.
C. With a response that actually gets something done.
D. With a phone call, not email.
E. Never. (We'll call the game over if he has not responded within 3 days of his returning to the office.)

#3 The shipping charges for all of this unnecessary shipping will be...

A. Billed to the theater.
B. Covered by Technicolor/Miramax

#4 The newly attached trailer (regardless of which prints are received) will be...

A. Attached with a poorly made splice that must be redone
B. Attached with cheap splicing tape that should be outlawed
C. Made with a splicer that has taken a few dozen too many falls off of the table (aka: out of alignment)
D. Spliced out-of-frame.
E. Spliced backwards, head to tail
F. Spliced flipped, soundtrack to picture
G. Spliced backwards AND flipped (it's happened)
H. Missing it's black lead-in before the green band
I. Chopping off the analog soundtrack of the Miramax logo
J. Missing it's black lead-out at the end of the trailer
K. Scratched or damaged in some manner

#5 The prints will come with...

A. Reel bands in good condition on all reels (this requires a string)
B. Reel bands on all reels, but only some are usable without tape
C. Labels placed over the string catch on the reel bands, creating unnecessary aggravation
D. No reel bands, but properly taped down on all reels.
E. No reel bands, but properly taped down on some of the reels.
F. No reel bands and NOT securely fastened on all reels.
G. No reel bands and NOT securely fastened on some of the reels.

#6 The reels will...

A. All be in good condition, no loose or broken reels.
B. Some in good condition, some broken or not clipped together properly.
C. None of them in good condition, either from being broken or not clipped together properly.
D. Look like they have years of dust and dirt on them.

#7 The print cans will...

A. Be missing dts discs.
B. Have the dts discs enclosed.
C. Have an old "letter to the projectionist" from another movie still in the cans.

#8 The condition of the cans will be...

A. New or like new, no dirt, no dents, easy to latch and un-latch.
B. Reasonably decent condition, good enough to ship film in.
C. Dented to hell, possibly with a latch that won't want to latch and un-latch.
D. Dented way beyond hell.
E. Missing a carrying handle.
