OK, after opening 4 prints of Harry Potter, now I am booked for 4 prints of Die Another Day.

What a crazy holiday season. Crazy that you have 24 screens and about 10 titles to choose from at some point during the release cycle.

How have you been booked?

The last movie we opened was Femme Fatale on Nov. 6, and we are not booked for The Two Towers so we are getting most of the releases in the next two weeks.

For Friday, we are opening 3 prints of Die Another Day, and 1 print each of The Emperors Club and Far From Heaven.

For Wednesday, we are opening 2 prints each of Treasure Planet, Solaris, and 8 Crazy Nights.

We do have 16 screens however only 6 have digital sound and only 4 are 'large' (>199 seats) so we are being forced to open movies in relatively small auditoriums without digital sound. [Frown]

I work at a nine plex (and not a really big one at that) and we currently have three prints of Harry Potter and are getting two prints of Die Another Day. On the 27th we will be getting 2 prints of Treasure Planet and a print of Solaris. I am assuming that we will drop one of our Harry Potter prints at that time. The main problem is, with all these openings, it becomes vary diffcult deciding which movies goes into what auditorium. We have two 200 seat houses. Two 150 seat houses. Two 100 seat houses. Two 80 seat houses. And one 135 seat house (all stadium seating).

So right now I have Harry Potter in my three bigest houses. On Friday I will have Potter on one of our big houses and in the two 150 seat houses. Bond will be in the other big house and the 135 house. But on Wed I have to make room for Treasure Planet and Solaris. Things start to become messy after that.

Most New Jersey theates aren't going overboard on Die Another Day.

Reading Cinemas in Manville opens 1 print of 007 -- and picks up Frida. The AMC Hamilton opens 3 prints of 007 -- and gets Far from Heaven on its national arthouse break.

OTOH the Regal Commerce Center in North Brunswick opens 3 prints of 007 and four-walls a screen for a Bollywood picture. [Embarrassed] As a result Regal won't show Far from Heaven in New Jersey.

Lakeville 18 has three prints. Two of these run all day (Four shows most likely) and the third does evenings opposite Harry Potter. Two of these prints are in our Dolby EX houses, one in SRD.

Could be worse, there could be no prints at all to handle.
