The box-office failure of Disney's Treasure Planet may cause the studio to rethink its role as the industry's leader in animated features, some analysts are indicating. ----------------------------------------------------------------
If just those kind Disney-people would accept the fact, we hear "out there in theaters" - what audience expect from a Disney-movie: Cute, fluffy animals, singing and speaking and wearing clothes. Not-to-scary to the youngest, fun to the older movie-goers. Lion King, Tarzan, Jungle Book, Aristocats did great; Pochahontas may have done well, but send audiences disappointed home, Hercules was a stinker and now Treasure Planet bombs. Signals readable without big exams. Somebody please tell them not to throw away 70 years of being number one by trying to please grown-ups instead of the real Disney-audience !
