After the bad experience with Chicago(I must be in the tiny minority that hated the movie) , I needed to watch something good. I went to Gangs of New York. It was not as great as I was hoping, but it was still pretty watchable and the theater I saw it in AMC Barret Commons is the rare Atlanta theater that actually has nice bright projector bulbs bringing out the colors in the movies.

But what really gave me renewed enthusiasm for movies was the Kill Bill trailer. The music was damn cool. The trailer made me want to watch the movie tomorrow. Damn, we have to wait another nine months for this movie? The good thing about the delay is that it is obvious it will not be a rush job. One guy actually came to see the trailer and left after that to another screen(I assume). I just wish someone other than Lucy Liu was chosen. She is a bit overexposed already and the non hardcore QT fans will be thinking of charlies angels stuff with Lucy and the wirefu. I expect this movie to be one of the more fun movies later this year.
