The team that developed Kodak's VISION Premier Color Print film 2393 has been awarded an Academy Scientific and Engineering Award. It will be presented on March 1, 2003. I am proud to have served on the Kodak team that developed this unique film:

quote:
To Dr. Leslie Gutierrez, Diane Kestner, James Merrill and David Niklewicz for the design and development of the Kodak Vision Premier Color Print Film, 2393.

This film stock provides filmmakers with enhanced color saturation, higher contrast and darker blacks, producing a bold, colorful "look" on the theater screen.

Congratulations! I love the look of 2393--it's the closest that one can get to dye-transfer printing without actually making dye-transfer prints.

Claude--check out the "feature info and trailer attachments" forum--the film stock is usually specified there. Do a search for "2393" and/or "vision premier." I'd recommend "Eight Women" as a good recent example.
