In order to get the film-tech forums to display, I have to disable my firewall. I'm confused.

I'm using zone alarm as my firewall. Has anybody else had this problem? If so, is there a fix other than bringing down my firewall?

I've been looking for a solution but I haven't found one yet.

My first guess is that you have cookie control set way too high. Try setting 'cookie control' to off under the privacy tab.

I'm using the new Apple browser "Safari" and so far I really like it - except when I browse the forums here. The "No Bookmarking" page shows up whenever I use my browsers "back" button. I have contacted Apple about this.

I also use Zonw Alarm with no problems. It works with both the Netscape 7.0 and Internet explorer. Netscape is my choice as it get me lots less "junk".

I'm using zone alarm pro. With cookie control turned on the can't see the pictures and I had to turn the cookie control off.

There are seperate forums? Didn't notice that today. Daytime hours make Daryl groggy.

Mike,

Safari is still too raw for me to use as my day-to-day browser. I'm still using Chimera for most stuff. It works well on these forums, especially with pipelining turned on. (hidden pref)

I like Safari but it still has some growing up to do.

I figured out it belonged in a different forum as soon as I posted it. Hey, I'm a newbie here, I'm trying.

It was cookie control for me. As I write this my firewall is up and active.

Thanks
