Those of you who follow newspapar comics and have access to a strip called GASOLINE ALLEY, which celebrated its 75th anniversary in 1996, must be moved by the current story line involving the economic problems of the “Octane Theatre.” For todays installment, visit http://www.comicspage.com/gasolinealley/.

Those who fondly remember changeover booths and carbon arcs will appreciate today's GASOLINE ALLEY strip. Same URL. [Smile]

The artist did a nice job on the booth projectors.

Our local paper stopped carrying this strip back in the 1980's

I read it from 1964 until then. They dropped Broom Hilda at the same time.

Bruce, a nice job indeed. The lamphouses strongly resemble Ashcraft Super Core-Lites. "Those were the days." [Smile]
