The Sing-A-Long version of the Wizard of Oz opens at the Gershwin Theatre on June 12th though June 29th for 14 performances. Tickets range from $15.00 to $40.00 [Eek!]

When the "Wizard of Oz" opened in New York it played at the Capital Theatre (5000 seat) at Broadway @ 51st Street, 65 years ago. Paramount Plaza sits on that site and the Gershwin Theatre is part of the Paramount Plaza building.
