This camera ad appears in the latest "GO-LO" catalogue. Their web address is "www.golo.com.au".
They are an Australia wide franchise of discount stores.
Seeing that a 4 megapixel camera sells down under for no less than $900- 1000 Australian, to be able to purchase a 16 meg unit for such a low price is amazing.
George Lucas would possibly buy several.
Regards. John Spooner.

John, I would assume that their misleading ad alludes to 16 mB of storage. The camera is more likely a nicer than average webcam that can take low res stills.

I agree with Joe,
It appears to me that the 16 meg is decribing its built-in storage capacity, not the camera's resolution.

The resolution is acutally probably around the 640x480 range.

If a deal sounds to good to be true, it usually is.

AU$39.99 ≈ US$27.19 (as of 7/5/2003).

I second Jason's thought. Nothing more than a throwaway camera for the digital age.

I just used the Kodak Digital one time use at my Neices wedding last Saturday and the picture quality was fantastic. The wedding and reception were held at a Catholic Retreat Center in Montrose New York, with a spectacular, breath taking views of the Hudson River. All captured by the Kodak Digital. Rated A+++
