Author Topic: July, 12th., 1973 - That's 30 years, I guess Per Hauberg Jedi Master Film Handler Posts: 883 From: Malling, Denmark Registered: Jul 2000 posted 07-12-2003 03:56 AM                        So today, thirty years has gone, since I bought my little flee circus here, opening with "Paint Your Waggon" on two Bauer B5 with Microtechnica Carbon Arch lamps (30 A) and 2000 feet c/o. Of course, there has been a couple of bumps in the road now and then, but great fun most of the time, -and a living... A gentleman named John Zampi hired me on the spot and it was a Thursday (like today). I remember thinking to myself -"Why the hell would I want to work at a movie theatre ?". Well, that was officially 17 years ago. According to another above post - the first 17 years are the worst. So is it really all downhill from here? Maybe I'll clean the popper tonight in celebration...... Nah....
