digressing a bit from the Freaky Friday chat:
There's still a ways to go in recycling scripts. Two titles that came to mind were THE SPOILERS - 5 times (1914, 23, 30, 42 and 55) all based on the Rex Beach novel and SEVEN KEYS TO BALDPATE 7 times (1916 - Australia, 1917, 25, 29 -first time with sound, 35,46 and 47) IMdb says the 1946 was made for TV, but I don't buy that for that year. Does anyone know of any titles that beat this?

Isn't the record holder Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde?

If we limit it to features under the original title (including The Strange Case of...), foreign languages included, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde have 14 plus 7 TV feature versions, thus 21 total.

But Les Miserables has 20 plus 2 TV features for 22 total. Also 3 mini-series.
