here. It's getting a limited US release in September.
Caught a screening of it (AFI screening report) last year.
A beautiful film by Satoshi Kon, the director of Perfect Blue
and screenwriter for the Magnetic Rose segment of Katsuhiro Otomo's Memories.

For Claude and anyone else that might be interested, Millennium Actress opened yesterday at the Signature Theatres Dole Cannery 18. In Japanese with English subtitles. Still waiting to see if it will open here in the Neon National Forest.

Millennium Actress is the first release for DreamWorks' new arthouse imprint Go Fish. However, the film stiffed on its NYC opening and is already gone.

Looks like Las Vegas will have to wait for video on this one.
