I'm sorry for bringing up this point, however useless it may be. But what the hell happened with Armand Assante? I kind of recall back in 1989 (or was it 1990?) that he was supposed to be some kind of great actor or something. He was in that "Q&A" movie with Nick Nolte but then sort of fell off the radar scopes after that. Now, tonite, while writing some posts onto this forum I see him in some crappy POS flick on HBO called "Federal Protection" featuring the chick Adam Sandler told to get out of his Van Halen T-shirt before she jinxed the band and made them break up. Well, Van Halen is long since broke up and apparently unable to spark a cash-in reunion tour to pay for DLR's newest toupees. I would also guess Armand Assante has missed the boat on doing Merchant-Ivory films given this piece of crap playing on my TV. What is next for Armand? Porn films?

I guess it has to really suck being in straight-to-video land. But then aren't all those DLP things just straight-to-video anyway?

HEY! "Tough Luck" is apparently the one they shot with locations in Mobile, AL substituting for New Orleans locations. I goofed for a week & extra'ed on some of their shooting days. Nobody told them that Mobile's annual rainfall some years is the highest in the US!
