Another movie great has left us. Form my money, Donald was far superior to Mr. Kelly in Singing in the Rain in all respects.

I swear....God must be "putting on a show" and needed yet more talent this year!

When I heard of Donald's death I got out my copy of "Singing In The Rain" to watch and couldn't help but notice that everything Gene did Donald did just as well. It's kinda sad for me 'cause so many of those who have passed recently are from my generation. (I'm in good health and don't anticipate joining them very soon but thanks for asking. lol)

Donald also did a fun series of "Francis The Talking Mule" movies.

Every time I've seen or run "Singin' in the Rain", O'Connor's "Make 'Em Laugh" segment has gotten applause. Even if nothing else in the show got applause from that audience.

This announcement I missed. Sorry to hear of his passing. Indeed, he carried just as much of that picture as Kelly.
